Meditation with a Special Devotion to God - 4. Breathing to Let Go and Let God -- Guided Practice
Subscription Content - All Courses, Season 1, Episode 11 –
This practice based on the meditation lineages adhering to Patanjali's Yogasutra tradition shows how the mind can be calmed and the body can be relaxed by using the Om sound current, both by external chanting and then by immersion into the internal Om. When this breathing method is invoked for establishing the Iśwara samāpatti (engrossment in godliness), one begins to understand the meaning of let go and let God. His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda integrates a guided meditation and a prānāyāma practice with the Om heart-beat rhythm to emphasize this mindfulness approach to engrossment in godliness.
Recorded live at the Hansacharaṇam Retreat held in Southern California on the occasion of Guru Purnima, 16th – 19th July 2016
